Boogie is a modern reinterpretation of an English Bitter; inspired by the past but brewed with the future firmly in mind. Using new UK hop varieties and our house yeast, we’ve created a beer which tastes like home without dampening the desire to explore beyond it.

Large rocky off white head left a big froth on an amber coloured body. Sweet, malt & tea aroma. Medium bodied, soft & creamy with a lightly carbonated back. Malt, spiced fruit, berry, caramel & toffee tastes with a lightly hopped bitter finish. What a tremendous pint of bitter.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet, a little aggressive in terms of bitterness, almost astringent, has some out-of-place minerality, also dirty leaves, toasted grains. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Aggressively bitter finish that lingers unpleasantly in the throat, more leaves, orange peel, minerality. The aftertaste is really poor. Pity, as it isn't bad otherwise.

Can picked up from Hoptimism webshop, Loughborough, Leicestershire UK and consumed at home Sunday 29th November 2020 listening to BC Camplight - Shortly after Takeoff, cooking Pre-Cooked Stewed Chicken from the Curry Guy book for future curries. Pours classic amber with a haze. Decent straight up English bitter, notes of fruit, (citrus), hoppy, even a little juicy, dry finish. Very nice bitter.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a caramel orange with a bubble head. Aroma is full on malts. Taste is bitter forward, which leads to toffee and caramel malts.
