Bottle @ train tasting to CBC. Pours dark brown with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, dark fruits, brown sugar, little tartness. Flavor is malts, sugar, fruits, little spice. light booze. Medium body, lively carbonation. 030513

Bottle @ train tasting to CBC. Hazy brown with a big and lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dried fruit and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. 030513

33 cl. bottle @ home. Dark brown with a beige head. Yeast and caramel in the nose. Yeast, caramel and some coffee in the taste. Aftertaste is sweet with some pleasant bitterness. Nice dubbel.

Dark ruby brown colour. Sweet malty aroma. Texture is quite smooth and rich. Carbonation low to medium. Flavour is pleasantly sweet with the malts and hints of red fruit.

Bottle. Dark reddish brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of plum jam, roasted malt, alcohol. Taste, sweet malty, dried plums, honey, caramel, hints of syrup. Alcohol is well present. Sweet finish. Little bit watery, but drinkable.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear medium to dark red amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, overripped berry - fruity, moderate yeasty, light raisin - plum, leather notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, brown sugar, alcohol notes, yeasty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively. [20110121]

Pours a dark ruby red to brown beer. Clear, no indication of yeast in the bottle. Little head that clears fast, white to beige. Smells pretty sweet, caramel and malty. Full mouthfeeling, enough carbon. A lot of roasted malts at first, slightly acidic in the aftertaste, again with roasted malts and caramel. A pretty flat taste sensation for 8% alcohol, but still very balanced and no "flaws".
