Aroma is light and slightly stale with some grassy hops, slightly sweet malt, hints of corn, butter and gooseberry bush. Flavour is sweetish and somewhat messy with some grassy hops, hay, corn, grain, and hints of butter. A bit too sweet, stale and messy – but the grassy hops are nice here.

A hazed pils with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet chalky malt with light cardboard notes. In mouth, a crisp smooth malt with light chalky notes, German hops, a bit oxidized but still solid. Bottle from Piscator, re-branded for Manitoba market as Herbsman Bavarian Organic Pils.

330ml bottle bought some time ago at Systembolaget Kiruna. A slight haze to a golden-yellow body. Dense, white head with good duration. Sweet pale malts and grassy hops to the nose followed in the mouth by noble hops with a mandarin touch. Smooth bitter ending. Soft carbonated. Dry on the swallow. Thin to medium bodied. A decent unfiltered and organic pilsener. A home watching Ghana vs Germany on TV (Tromsø, 23.06.2010).

Bottle: Poured a light golden color pils with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and lightly sweet malt is average at best. Taste is dominated by grassy notes which overwhelmed the rest of the characteristics. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad overall but just too much of this grassy feeling.

Bottle 33cl. @ home. [ As Riedenburger Pils Organic ]. Unclear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle 0,33l labeled "Pils Organic". Pale golden colored. An OK fluffy creamy head. Aroma with hints of roasted malt. Surprisingly rich flavor with fruit and roasted malt. Pleasent bitterness in the aftertaste. Unclear: Unfiltered. A very good pilsener!

33cl Bottle @ BIO section of Carrefour Gerakas in Athens. Different label than the one in the picture. Hazy yellow color with medium foamy white head. Floral aroma with caramel and grass hints. Sweetish flavor of mostly malts, wheat and some spices. Nice and refreshing.
