After a crazy week at work I figured popping this puppy to start MLK long weekend would help turn life around. Again this pours jet black, with thin sudsy head with decent lacing. The nose is peat smoke all the way you’d swear this brew came from Islay instead of pleasantville, NY. Taste is of smoke, its salty and briney, with coffee, cola, rootbeer, oak and some of the wine barrel aging (although not as much as I remember teh regular SFTO having). Incredibly easy drinking with great carbonation and lasting finish. My favorite of three in gift pack.
