Bottled. A dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of ginger, pumpkin, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, pumpkin, cinnamon, and straw, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear deep golden with a lacing off-white head. Pumpkin pie spices in the nose. Medium body, very, very dry - again with your typical pumpkin spices. Dry finish. 121010

The corner store, Prospect Heights ($11.00): I guess I am the first one here to have gotten a six-pack of this stuff. In any case, it pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Pumpkin spice aroma. Slightly sweet taste. Quite spicy with the cinnamon and nutmeg. Malty, but not really much. On the light bodied and easy drinking side of things. Minimal hops. I think pumpkin ales should always be imperial pumpkins; the sessionable pumpkin ales are always a disappointment.
