Tap @ Taphouse, Hull. Hazy amber brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, heavy dried fruit and light tart. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 120220

Cask at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival (labeled as 8.5% abv in program): Poured a mahogany brown with off white to tan head. Aroma was nutty, malts, roast. Taste was sweet malty, very bold, some bitterness, depth created by the chestnuts.
