500ml bottle BBE June 2021. Nice moderate gold pour, clean smallish white head. Aroma of malt, grain and grapefruit. Nice silky smooth carbonation and texture on the palate so good body. Flavour or malt, grapefruit, orange, floral notes and a dry hoppy finish with a malty aftertaste. Very nice, not quite as good as their IPA ‘Proper Job’ but a fine beer indeed.

29/12/2019. Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, fruit, flowers and light bready notes. Medium plus sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale copper golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals light English bready malt, a very mellow hop character, and some metallic notes. Flavour is identical, with metallic notes, biscuity malt, and gentle earthy hops. The clarity is decent, the flavours are just not particularly interesting. Passable English pale like so many others.

(Bottle) Clear amber gold, tiny white head. Nice aroma of toffee malt and restrained hops. Light body with rather fizzy carbonation. Sweet toffee malt, hints of stewed apples and tea. Some restrained bitterness in finish. Very quaffable.

Thin off white head left a spotty cover on a pale copper coloured still body. Malt, caramel & English hops aroma. Medium bodied, soft & creamy over the tongue with a well carbonated clean back. Floral tastes with sweet malt, sugar, sweet berry & herbal tastes followed by a zesty citrus finish.

Can on BA flight from Bermuda to LGW. Very surprised by this one! Aroma is a bit of corn and open field wheat with faint spice (pepper) and floral aspects as it warmed. Clear light gold with moderate white head and slight patterns. Taste is fruity and floral. Nice beer.

Il gusto al naso va sul fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la continuità olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una discreta resistenza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è nella media. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. La frizzantezza si manifesta sotto forma di bollicine medie. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è normale. La costanza gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul palato arrivano sentori di pane, cereali, agrumi e mela.
