Tap MBCC 2022 Green Session. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt and lager yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, yeasty, malt, mineral, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Tap. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is papery malts, old world hops, quite fresh. Taste is again sweetish grains, the hop character is okay, but it's quite plain in its graininess. Oily mouthfeel, light-bodied, low carbonation. Alright for a Pale Lager.

Initially, directly from can, to lips this stuff is pretty good, I'm liking it. Good level of co2 from the start. One of the better pale craft lagers I've had domestically. Most of the domestic pale craft lagers are hard to take and not well made, but this one seems to have much of the desirable civilized, easy to drink, attributes without any negative effects. In the glass this stuff is certainly clear pale. Smooth, never bitter. No ill astringent immature qualities what so ever. Cycle must have taken the long historical lessons learned from bud and coor's seriously. If they can continually repeat this, I think they'll have a winner. Even better than old millwaukie, it's namesake?

Draft: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is fresh grain. Taste is refreshing grain with a hint of yeast and bread. Wet and refreshing for Florida heat.
