Clear gold. Frothy foamy white head. Aroma has upfront citrus over a malty base. Light-medium bitter. Citrus with a quinine hit. Underlying sweet malts but the quinine element really takes over. Light-medium bodied. Slick verging on thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. A bitter lager (well, Pils).

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Clear gold with small rather fizzy head to start but ok retention. Aroma is sweet and grainy but there is a decent freshness aided by some floral noted hopping. Taste has a nice cereal and light doughy malt, sweet middle and then a floral and grassy hopping although its only light crisp bite - mostly it's a long moderate lingering bitterness but nice contrast to the sweetness. Light to medium bodied, light oily, semi-dry. Pretty good.

Half-pint, draught, shared with Finn at Free Trade Inn. Clear late straw coloured body, slowly diminishing white head that laced well. Moderate cereal malts on the nose, hints of hops as well. Carefully blend of noble hops and a little malty sweetness. Mid-dry pale malty ending. Clean on the swallow. Decent pilsner version. (Byker - Newcastle upon Tyne, 20.03.2024).

Has okay clear yellow body, good carbonation, small pat of foam. Smells of very soft sweet lager hops. Taste is a bit of sweet cereal, soft hops, ends smooth and crisp. An okay pub lager, nothing else.
