Our brewers selected flavour packed, slow kilned ale malt, caramalt and biscuity malted wheat to craft a malt backbone which is then beautifully complemented by a heady hop aroma of zesty lemon and orange citrus. This golden ale finishes refreshing and moreish.

Hops: First Gold, Cascade, Fuggles, Citra, Centennial
Malt: Pale ale, Caramalt, Wheat

Festival pint draft at Hebrides West End, Edinburgh, Scotland. Cask pour. It is a very nitro pour and now is a clear dark gold color with a small, creamy, tight white head and excellent retention. Virtually no aroma. Super creamy mouthfeel. Malty lager taste with some bread. This is a very well made golden ale. Really clean and easy drinking, but not the most flavorful. So it's lovely to drink, but not excellent taste. But not bad taste either. Medium body and low carbonation as suggested by the cask pour. Zero bitterness.

Cask at the Falcon (JDW), Wycombe. Gold with a white head. Lemon, a little caramel and a slightly twiggy bitterness in the finish. Easy drinking; it's fine but forgettable.

Can, gift. Aroma is lightly fruity with pale malt, grassy notes, touch of orange. Flavour is light sweet and light to mild bitter, body a bit thin. Easy.

Cask at Briar Rose, Birmingham. I didn't realise they did thirds until now. Got to try this for 85 pence - nice. Clear gold with smooth creamy white head, nice lacing. This one had a decent peach and mellow citric pithiness with some floral pine and grainy malt. Nice smooth mouthfeel. Went well with some nachos. Good.
