This full bodied copper coloured beer displays a delicate blend of cloves, coriander and heaps of fiery ginger. You will find a generous depth of flavour which reveals more with every sip.

Bottle at the Croydonia Tasting, thanks to Leighton, 13/07/13. Murky orange amber with a thin off white head that clears edgeward and leaves some spotting. Nose is ginger, sugars, bitter orange, fresh root ginger. Taste comprises root ginger, orange, syrup, light sugars, touch of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light bitter notes in the finale. Decent effort for a ginger enfused SHV.

Nice.

Bottle thanks to Leighton at Croydonia tasting. It pours hazy golden with a thick white head. The nose is earth, toast, wood spicy ginger, pihty orange and tangerine. The taste is ginger, orange, green grape, alcohol, sherbet, old-fashioned lemonade, light sweetness and mild acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty good balance. Decent.

500ml bottle. Filmy orangey golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Spicy ginger aroma, cautious fruity, citrusy background. Taste is initially peppery spicy with a ginger note, bitter hoppy overtones, minimally sweet caramel basis, later dry, slightly soapy with intensening ginger, in the finish with a strange root vegetable touch; (too) lively carbonation. Not my cup of tea.

Very hazy amber beer, tidy off white head. Smooth palate, a little dry. Mild creamy malt with nice smooth ginger, flavoursome without too much heat. A bare whisper of citrus. Dry crispy finish. A nice ginger beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy with sediment and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light ginger note with a hint of citrus, light fruit and light grain. Flavor has some earthy grain with a nice light ginger note that grows through the finish.

Bottled. Clear golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of ginger, bit soapy. Dryish taste, quite a lot of ginger. Still decent balanced. But Im just not a fan of ginger in beer.

Bottle at Borefts Beer Festival 2010. Bright and tasty, with an aroma and a finish of fresh ginger. I wonder if this is what the old ginger beers of England used to taste like?
