Backlog October 2013. Clear golden body under a small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma is quite fruity with some spicy Belgian yeast. Taste is rather sweet but smooth malt, hint of toffee, slightly fruity and spicy with low bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. BB date Nov.2014. ABV is 5.2%. Slightly hazy golden colour, low white head. The aroma has some fruit, hints of oxidised apple peel. The flavour is reasonably fresh, fruity and refreshing, not very sweet, easy drinking. The hops are way too moderate though.

33cl bottle at Ciri Bè, Florence, Italy. Pours slight amber gold with fine white foam. Aroma is rich in esters, fruity like banana. Body is average, maybe a little light, with low carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, with low carbonation. Finish is relatively short, with some residual sweetness.

Eataly, NYC bottle ($4): Pours hazy light orange with a wee white head. Aroma is orange and lemon and herbs. Taste is citrus and there at the end, there is an herbal sort of finish. Aftertaste is quite citrusy. Pretty light.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Fortært i Skibotn 18 Mai 13. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Pærlende skum som raskt blir borte. Veldig forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken er syrlig frukt. Plommer. Avslutningen er aprikos & svisker.

Frisk duft av citron og frukter. Gul grumset farge. Lite skum, no langs kant. Fin litt sur søt smak med en anelse honning.

Bottle. Golden-orange.yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, malt, fruit. Flavour is yeast, citrus, malt, fruit, spices. OK/Nice beer.

Bottle, 33cl. Lots of floaties in this one, it’s olden to orange in color, and topped by a minimal-sized light beige head. The aroma is very fruity, in a Belgian, it feels like it’s much stronger than 5.2%. Sugar, some spices and pepper, and a touch of yeast too. It’s quite effervescent on the palate, yet it feels in a strange way flat. Cardboard-ish is maybe a better word. The flavor is quite sweet, with canned tropical fruits, peaches amongst others, fruit syryp, pepper, and some yeast and bitternes hints. Some bitterness and quite a lot of fruity sweetness in the end, with a peppery touch. Reading the label I think there’s buckwheat in this one, don’t know if that adds a little peppery touch, but there’s probably some spices added as well. Anyway, it’s a quite pleasant beer, but it’s not impressive in any way, even though I like the peppery touch very well. 131108

0.33l bottle. This is a light cloudy honey-golden one with a small islandy and bubbly white top. It has a lovely fresh perfumed and fruity aroma. Really fruity sweet, lots of sweet honey melon, zest, public bathroom soap and something slightly herbal. An interesting aroma. It's below average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is a bit flat and almost slimy? Is it allowed to say that? Fresh flavors. As expected it's really on the sweet side this. Lots of fruity sweetness from cantaloupe, zest, old citrus zest with something slightly grassy and definitely herbal as well. It's an interesting one, but it not finding it particular pleasant or tasty. Lacks some bitterness in the finish. Slightly yeasty aftertaste with some ripe old fruits. 13.05.2013
