0.33 l bottle from local βLIDLβ, bottled in April 2017. Clear, dark amber with a thin, frothy, stable, off-white head. Very faint, sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, honey and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty taste of caramel, honey, sultanas, vanilla and maybe slight hints of wood, followed by a short, moderately bitter, sweetish, slightly grassy and minimally woody-dry finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, easily drinkable, but quite bland, oak aging is hardly detectable.

$2.90 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Golden with hints of amber and a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is grassy, grain, wheat. Flavor is grainy as all hell. Corn, grass, wheat, toffee, caramel, cardboard. About $2.00 overpriced.

Sweet malt nose. Clear medium amber, tall frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malts, wee bit citrus, caramel, wood, vanilla, grass. Taste light light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, toffee, bit vanilla, hint of wood. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweet and light bitter aftertaste, toffee, bit woody, nice smooth fellow.

330 ml can. Pours with a clear amber color and a nice off-white head. The nose is malty and sweety. Ripe fruits, caramel and nice wooden aroma. Taste of malt, toffee, some ripe and candied apples. Very nice balanced. Good carbonated. Thumbs up!

(Draught at Bishopβs Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 11 Feb 2017) Copper colour with dense, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, oak wood, dried fruit, apricots and slightly buttery malt. Malty taste with caramel, treacle-toffee, dried fruit, orange peel, oak wood, chocolate and a gentle bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, but a but unfocused and fairly sticky. Quite enjoyable.
