12 oz bottle, dark brown with some red hues on the edges. The head was tan with light lacing. Low carbonation in this bottle. The aroma was burnt malts, coffee and a touch of chocolate. The flavor was burnt malts and a touch of chocolate sweetness with thin to medium in body. A bit of hops to help balance the roasted malts. A bit above average, nice job from this brewer.

overall pretty typical of otter creek, very enjoyable, but not too far off the map, this could have done with a little unexpected zing of flavor, possibly a vanilla or coffee porter, more roasted malts, im not sure, very good dont get me wrong, but very middle of the road.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stokholm. Near black, rich airy head. Mild chocolate/licorice aroma. Dry with spritzy, rounded mouthfeel. Salty, roasty and bready with medium-light body and non-intimidating flavour intemsity. Salty ansiseed finish. Heavy carbonationa makes it feel a bit blown up or diluted.

Tap at Swift. This is exactly what I expect out of a porter. Pitch black with a firm, off-white head. Nose of burnt malts, coffee and some chocolate. Flavor was dominated with dark, roasted malt character but there were also some pleasant hop notes. More coffee notes. Rich and creamy, this was an enjoyable drink. Slight lingering roasted malt aftertaste. Really good.

Draught at Pony Bar, New York
Dark mahogany color. Light coffee aroma. Dry coffee flavor, quite bland, no chocolate; dry finish; like an office coffee. Useless.

(Draught) Poured deep dark brown and hazy with medium sized and lightly tan coloured head. Aroma contained coffee and roastedness. Palate was full bodied and soft with medium carbonation. Tasted of coffee, roastedness, malts, hops and lightly ash. Finished ashy and bitter.

22oz bottle as part of the "World Tour Pack". Pours with a slightly lighter shade of dark brown than their Dubbel. Fading off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, leather, roast, bread and grains. Taste is coffee and ash tray. Medium to high carbonation with a dryish mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small light tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a roasted malt with chocolate and coffee. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is similar to the aroma with a dry finish. A good porter from Otter Creek.
