Aroma malt, gress, humle. Utseende klar lys gul med offwhite skum som varer. Smak malt, sitrus, karamell, humle. Medium fylde, fin maltsødme, moderat bitter. God øl. Flaske smakt Aug -17

In München steht ein Hofbräuhaus. Oans, zwoa, g’suffa. Vom Geruch und Geschmack nahezu identisch: Floral, hopfig, getreidig. Für ein bayerisches Helles eher auf der herben Seite. Zu viel Kohlensäure, wenn auch extrem feinperlig. Ein anständiges, allerdings (und damit anders als man es von dieser Bierikone eigentlich erwarten würde) kein überragendes Helles.

Bottle at home. Clear golden color, full sized white head rhat lasts for quite a while. Aroma is classic German pilsener: malty, dusty. Flavor is malts, grains, malt bitters although this one is not that bitter at all. Very soft so to speak. Pleasant though. Finished the half liter in no time.

7-5-6-4-14 Bottle, ten months before bbd. Pours clear pale yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is pale malts with white bread and toffee, as well herbal hops with straw and citrusy notes. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is zesty herbal hops with citrusy notes, as well as pale malts with white bread, hay and honey. Lingering herbal hops in the finish.

Tight white foamy head stayed on a translucent pale golden, finely carbonating body. Grain, cereal & biscuit aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a cloying back. Biscuit, malt & cereal on the front with a long bitter finish. Brilliant!
