Draft @ some hipster biergarten thing. Clear gold with an ok white head. Aroma of grains. Taste is grains, grains and grains. Some cereals. A little bit of malts, straw and in the distance I can hear a careless whisper from the hops. Medium carbonation. No-nonsense Helles. Easy to drink for sure but I prefer Hofbräu's competitors.

Appearance- golden, very clear, some bubbles, a small white head which quickly disappears. Aroma- cereal malt, wheat, grains, hint of fruity hops. Taste- creamy malt, bitter hops, cereal, hints of citrus fruit, wheat, fairly full mouthfeel, bitter finish.

A nice clear and bright yellow gold colour with a 2 finger head of foam. It looks like the foam isn't going anywhere in a hurry. Nice.
Ok, halfway through the session, the foam shrunk to just a ring around the glass and that surprised me. Oh well.
I like the smell....plenty of notes of sweet malt, biscuit, and a nice nose of some citrus hops.
The taste follows the nose nicely. Biscuit flavour is there in abundance along with a citric hop kick that gives it some good balance and it finishes with more of the same. Very tasty and very easy to drink.
I used to drink this a lot back in the 70s when I lived in California and I'm pleased to say, it's still a damn good Lager. Could I session on it? You betchya!

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma fine bianca media persistenza, colore giallo tenue limpido, al naso intenso aroma di malto e luppolo, carbonatazione moderata, in bocca malto sentori erbacei, lieve acidula, corpo medio, amaro moderato. La persistenza retrolfattiva è lunga. Una lager commerciale di qualità 22.10.17

Aroma malt, gress, humle. Utseende klar lys gul med offwhite skum som varer. Smak malt, sitrus, karamell, humle. Medium fylde, fin maltsødme, moderat bitter. God øl. Flaske kjøpt på Systembolaget Storheden Luleå 50cl 5,1% BF060618 ---

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger frothy white head. Medium lasting, pretty good lacing. Pleasant nose, grains and hops, slightly tart. Medium body, average carbonation, slightly soft even. Average texture. Pleasantly bittersweet taste with slight tart notes. Aroma is medium malty, grainy, touch of grassy hops. Slight corn. Herbal. Slight acidity towards the finish. Finishes slightly bitter and somewhat peppery. Overall, decent brew. Nothing extraordinary but pretty good thirst quencher. Good.

Bottle at home from getränkmarkt Hamburg. A very decent lager and want to try it in the city. (February) ---- Bottle at home from getrankmartt offenberg. A very very nice lager, I think a contest is on with augustiner hell. Would love to try this beer in a fat Stein in Munich from tap. It’s supremely smooth, sweet with a bitter backing. Superb. ----- Bottle at home, from getrankmarkt. Surely one of the ebst lagers around for sure. it is as smooth as a whistle. Taken from 3.5 to 3.3 however, no doubt a more realistic score for a lager. Looking forward to trynig this on tap! (12/10/17) ----- rerated on bottle ordered from systemboalget online. A smooth lager that really does the job on a tough day. Kept at 3.3 (10/5/19) ---- Same conditions. Bit blander. 3.3 to 3.1. ----- Same conditions. 3.1 to 3. It's a cracking refresher but then agian, what lager isn't apart from the terrible ones. (5/7/19) ----- Same conditions. 3 to 2.5. Distinctly average today. (30/8/19) --------- Tap at restaurant in Munich Airport. Was expecting an improvement on tap but it kinda got worse..metallic. 2.5 to 2.4.
