Bottle from Gourmeo24. Hazy amberbrown colour, white foam. Malty, light notes of caramel, light bitter, bit dry. Good Kellerbier.

0.5 l bottle, best before February 2018. Hazy, dark amber with a medium large, dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of caramel, straw, grains and some nuts. Sweetish, slightly malty, quite grassy-spicy taste of straw, grains, caramel, some honey and a touch of nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice one!

Bottle. Hazy amber color with eggshell head. Aroma is bready, yeasty, a bit floral and fruity. Taste is bready, fruity, floral, a bit dusty, sweetish. Oily mouthfeel, natural carbonation. A bit too muted and simple, but quite enjoyable!

Bottle. Cloudy Amber orange. Big head with nice lacing. Aroma is rather weak. Damp basement, earthy and some grassy hops in the background. Taste is yeasty and fruity. Lemons. Aftertaste is sour and bitter. Goes down easy but like most Mönchshof beers it left me unsatisfied.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz flip top brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy tan-caramel color with a huge soapy white-tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet with bread, honey and a bit of orange. The flavor was sweet, bready and yeasty with notes of honey, orange and pretzel dough. Medium length finish. Medium body. Solid.

From tap at Monchshof Fulda. Hazy dark orange amber color with off white head. Malty aroma, grainy, fruity, caramel, wood. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

0.5l flip-top bottle from rewe in weil. pours a cloudy amber with a big frothy off-white head and a nice lacing. mild aroma of hay. flavour of hay, bread, raisins, toasted malts. strong carbonation.
