Saranac Pale Ale is a classic English Pale Ale brewed with six specialty malts and aggressively-hopped with hand-selected English Kent Goldings & Fruggles hops. Look for a rich fruity hop bouquet. A copper amber color and a smooth, full-flavored taste with a crisp finish that only comes from a genuine top fermented ale. Enjoy!

12oz bottle. Pours a copper amber colour with a thin cream head; earthy malt aroma; malty flavour with a touch of apple and caramel; the finish is lasting and has clean English hops, but with an underlying malty sweetness.

Bottle at Beer Temple in Amsterdam. Pours dark amber with a good beige head. Aromas of malt and resiny hop. Flavor is caramel wtih resiny/herbal bitter. Hard to place the flavor totality. Smoother than some. Not so bitter as others. Seems to express a little chocolate.

Amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity with citrus and caramel. Sweetish fruity flavour with grainy malt. Not much elegance in this...

Bottle. Pours a typical amber with a medium, off-white head. Nice, mild hop aroma with slight citrus notes. Smooth, well-balanced flavor. Decent malt sweetness and hop bitterness. An above average pale ale.
