Adding in my 300 Beers To Try ticks because I want to see how they impact my stats and some of them I will never see again. Will however re-rate them when practical. Beers of Europe or Hogs back?

Bottle bought whilst on a visit to Somerset. Poured dark brown with a nice size beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, light coffee, dark fruit and nut. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Best of the 4 I brought back from this brewer.

Deep dark brown color, creamy head. Aroma has coffee and Baileys Irish Creme. Light to medium bodied. Roasted malt. Creamy with coffee and chocolate. Fine porter, full of flavor and surprisingly easy to drink.

Pours a dark brown black colour with a red tint and a foamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and a little fruit. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee flavours, again some dark fruit and a dryish bitterness. Creamy in the mouth and a very moreish.

500 ml bottle. Translucent brown color topped by a small creamy beige head. Roasted malt nose hints at dark toffee. Upfront, flavor is more roasted malt with notes of wood and black coffee. Smooth and mildly carbonated. Somewhat dry and bitter, with nutty, dark fruit in finish. Very complex and enjoyable. A delicious British Porter that does more with less.

Cocoa and earthy coffee nose, moderate strength. Maroon brown, clear. barely any head. Charred oak, generally dry but with a mildy sweeter finish. Remarkably light body, and soft carbonation. Drinks like a schwarzbier, very lagery in body and flavor.

Cask at the Windmill, Coventry, 22/04/15. Black topped with a decent tan head that retains well. Nose is roast malt, chocolate, light spice, charr. Taste comprises more chocolate notes, biscuit malt, toffee, light spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roasted tones in a semi drying close. Decent cask porter, good balance between sweet and roast/bitter.
