Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Near black, creamy head. Huge chocolate aroma. Soft and rounded withlots of coffee. This is malt covered in chocolate sauce and espresso.

A dark ruby red beer with a small brown head. The aroma is very light of chocolate. The flavor is of roasted malts and chocolate which in the middle is taken over by notes of coffee combined with some sourness. It ends on a rather dry note both from hops and malts.

Pours thick and black. Tan head with good lacing. Hoppy, dry flavor (definite woody aspect). This is a good porter, but nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion.

Dark plainly hopped beer both in flavour and aroma. Hardly a very good porter.

Roasty aroma with notes of cigarette smoke? and cola? Weird. Anyway: Large tan pitted head. Very dark red-brown. Good retention. Rich full mouthfeel, rather malty. Light coffee and roasted malt flavors. A little sharp in the finish.

Dark ale; beautiful head. Light malt aroma. Too much carbonation; roasted malt and coffee; a bit metallic. Average palate, pretty long. Not convincing.

Somewhat unusual flavours - smokey, lots of dark malts. One of those beers you remember a long time after you've had it. I had the pleasure of enjoying it from the cask at the Chicago Real Ale Festival, which I only mention because anyone who is serious about beer should attend this fest ASAP.
