"This succulent premium ale has a wonderful blend of hops that give spicy and citrus fruit flavours leading into a dried fruit and biscuit malt finish. Twice a gold medal winner at the British Bottlers’ Institute Awards. Rich and malty as well as fruity and spicy. Nutty amber malt and biscuit pale malt together with crystal malt giving toffee/caramel notes. Fuggles and Styrian hops brings masses of tropical fruit and fragrant spiciness. Robust bitterness is balanced with the full body and mouth feel provided by the malt and the satisfyingly complex hoppiness."

500cl Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin white broken head. The aroma is of red berry fruit and a little malt. The flavour is medium bitter, with a lovely mellow malty, fruity, nut palate. The finish is smooth and medium bitter. It’s like no other beer i’ve ever tasted.

Sweet with a bitter edge aroma, dark amber beer. Sweet flavour and slight bitter backtaste. Alright but not memorable.
