16 ounce can at the 5th Annual Epic Beer Tasting in Richmond, VA, November 28, 2010. Pours a clear red color with a medium frothy head. Fruity and malty aroma. The taste is peach, pear, caramel and a dry roasty finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle: Poured a clear medium brown color ale with a fizzy small head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma consists of light roasted malt with no bitterness and lightly sweet adjunct dominated malt profile. Taste is also a mix between some light caramel with faint roasted malt. Body is way too thin for style with medium carbonation. Pointless.

This ??? poured a deep brown colour with a big, brown, frothy head. To the nose there are scents of caramel, molassass, corn and toasty malts. First taste was watery but not bad tasting. flavours of caramel and roasted malts (molassass). Finish is thin but roasty that lingers into the palate.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur brune foncée et claire. Nez de caramel sucré, de grains de malt légèrement rôtis avec des notes de houblon herbeux et de sirop d’érable ainsi que des traces de noix. Mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture très légèrement crémeuse et aux notes aqueuses. Goût de grains de malt sucrés et moyennement rôtis accompagné lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût de caramel sucré, des notes de sirop d’érable et des traces de pain grillé puis en finale l’on retrouve une très légère amertume de houblon herbeux avec des traces de noix et métalliques. Post-goût moyen-court et aux petites notes asséchantes, légèrement amer de rôti avec des notes de houblon herbeux.
