Golden color with an ok white head. Grainy and malty aroma. Medium body with an ok carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Grainy, mild fruity and malty flavor. Nothing to recommend.

Pours greenish golden. White head. Aroma is low: bread, iron, a hint of honey. Aggressive carbonation. Watery, lightest body, flat. Forgettable.

clear golden colour, minimal white head, which completely disappears within some minutes; aroma of grains, some cardboard and hints of raspberry (???); taste is the same with some sourness; not really good lager but drinkable

Bottle from Seoul Plaza. Aroma overpasteurized, dull washing cloth, raw grainy. Clear golden colour, moderately sized head, quickly disappearing. Taste could be worst, honestly. It is dull, empty, neutral, which is probably a good thing. Some washing cloth, some grainy notes, almost malty. Very lightly astringent finish. If forced to go for a Japanese macro, I would rather reach for Asahi Black.

Aroma of light malt, straw, hay. Flavour is light malty with a light bitter finish. Wouldn’t drink this anywhere else other than at a Japanese restaurant, but as Pale Lagers go I found this one acceptable.

Sapporo Premium Lager, 4.7%, 10.8°. Brewed by Diageo in Dundalk. Rated this under that other entry... moving the rating. :) Poured a golden colour with a small white head that went away fast. Malty nose, a bit flowery. Ok actually. Empty, watery taste, Some spicy hops, a bit lemoney, dusty, some alcohol (wtf) and some maltiness that keeps itself way back in the background. Very faint lemon seed aftertaste. Drinkable but unimpressive and at the price (10.90kn) not something I’ll drink again soon.

Popular Japanese standard ’pils’ with pale golden colour and loose, snow white head; malt sweetness in the nose as well as corn and a vague sourish touch, finished with faint aromatic hops. Neutral taste, vague sweetishness, grainy and some corn with mild hop bitterishness in the finish, bit metallic too. Just another boring mass-marketed pale lager.
