Bottle at Monk. Golden amber colour, small white head. Aroma is twiggy, fruity. Taste is good, fruity, twiggy, decent maltiness, but not so exciting to me.

Pours hazy golden with a lasting, thin, unstable, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, lemon zest, grapefruit juice, green banana, yeast, cheese, pine. Taste is light to medium fruity sweet & sour, hinting at apple, orange & mango with sourish zest underneath, bitterness building in the form of grapefruit juice & mandarin rind, all the while somewhat yeasty & piney, but firmly supported by bready malts. Dry, earthy, a tad resinous hoppy finish, lingering yeast & bitter fruit. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Quenching (Belgian, indeed) IPA with the necessary modern hoppiness.

Shared @ Koelschtrinkers tasting. Smooth fresh beginning. Easy to drink with lots of fruit and grassy hops. Grainy body with a nice layer of pine and resin over a moderate bittered body. Fruity aftertaste, refreshing and nice dry fruity bitter in the end.

33 cl bottle at the Africa Museum restaurant, Tervuren. Hazy amber pour with an off-white head. Aroma is very intense: grapefruit, rocket, but also a hint of sweat. Very dry, crisp and full-bodied. Finish is very bitter and long-lasting. Not bad, in spite of that aromatic flaw.

Draught at BBP. Deep orange with a full head. Aroma of clove and herb. Flavour is tangy spiced hop, fruity on a solid spice base.

Bottle at Cafe Walvis. A classic Belgian IPA. golden in colour. meaty hoppy and strong Belgian taste. real good. --- Bottle from somewhere. High fruit aroma, in particular lychee. Verrery sweet. A solid bitterness and sweetness. Quite extreme but nice. 3.8 to 3.7. 6 weeks out of date.
