Bottle @ home. Haven’t tasted this one for years, I figured it was time for a reintroduction. Clear golden colour with a nice white head. Aroma of grain and alcohol, like a malt liquor. Flavour is a lot better though, fruity and sweet, some grain and a hint of bitterness in the finish. Warming alcohol. Not the best of beers, but rather good for this type of brew.

30cl bottle. Straw with a loose white head; hoppy aroma with a touch of vanilla; smooth and oily in the mouth, with lots of tropical fruit and a hint of pear drops;short bitter finish. Much better than the ordinary Amstel in my opinion.

Bottle: Poured a golden color with thin bubbly head. Fruit aroma. Taste is a bit fruit with malts and a metallic hop to it.

Bottled. Pale golden colour, mediumsized creamy white head which leaves good lace. Aroma is alcohol, some malts and fruity hops. Flavour is quite much the same, sweet and alcoholic overall.

Dark blond, almost orange appearance with a thin head that quickly fades to nothing. Sweet sugary aroma with a hint of alcohol. Slightly bitter at first before the mouth is filled with a overwhelmingly sweet sugary flavour. There’s some fruit in there too hidden behind the sugar, melon maybe. Texture is thick and unctuous.

(Bottle 30 cl) Pours a clear, fully golden with a white head. Aroma of alcohol.Fairly full-bodied with plenty of sweet malt and a touch of caramel. Some alcohol in the finish but still remains soft and smooth. Definitely one of the better examples of its style. 290506

Bottle: Dark golden coloured, thin but lasting white head; malty nose, traces of alcohol and honey; medium bodied; sweetish flavour; shy bitter-sweet finish with distinctive traces of alcohol; warming, not really bad..........

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a medium foamy white head. Malty and fruity aroma with obvious hints of alcohol. Medium sweet flavour, medium body. Grainy malty taste with a sharp alcoholic note especially in the finish combined with an unpleasant bitterness.
