75cl, 2010 vintage. Dark chestnut colour. The beers starts dark and caramelly with a light body. Easy to drink, round and not too deep. Easy to drink. Not too deep with a caramelly and a bit fruity aftertaste with not much bitterness.

75cl. caged and corked bottle, vintage 2009 (bought end 2013). Clear nearly opaque deep ruby brown colour, two finger frothy beige head, recedes slowly, light lacing. Aroma sweet roasted malts, caramel, nut wine, raisin, molasses, liquorice. Taste heavy to moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Full body, light creamy texture, soft carbonation, finish bittersweet, roasted sugar, caramel, toffee, spicy notes. Tasty beer, a real winterwarmer, very good.

75cl Bottle, 2-3 years old. Hazy ruby brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma of red fruits, oxidisation, port wine, raisin, sweet malts. Flavour is also oxidised, almost plastic-like, yeast, red fruits, sweet malts, hint of chocolate, light-bitter finish. Light-bodied. Nice.

75cl bottle @ home. A bit hazy red color, small to medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly bitter, slightly sweet, some overripe fruits and slightly grainy. Low to medium body and carbonation.

75 cl. bottle shared with my dad @ home, bought @ Mitra. dark ruby/amber with a tan head. Malty aroma. Good bittersweet malty taste with a sour undertone due to the aging. Very nice aged bockbeer.

Naja... Danke an Kiwianer! 8/7/8/8/11/7

Bottled vintage 2008 750ml
Dark nut brown color, good creamy beige head. Toffeish, a bit papery aroma. Medium-bodied. Toffeish, caramelly flavor. Does not show alcohol much. Probably an ale, not a bock.
