Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty and nutty taste with soft notes of caramel, medium-dry toasty malty and slightly vinous fruity finish. Thick yellow-brownish head, fed by lively carbonated cola-coloured beer. Caramel, molasses, sweet eggdough, nuts, old bread, sweet overall. Sweet, ever so slightly oxydized malts, maltsyrup, molasses. Nutty retronasal flavour, madeirawine. Creamy texture for the head; slick, nearly viscous beer, yet well-carbonated. Not half bad, very classical Bock - except for the aging, usually detrimental to Bocks. Not here.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin lazing light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruits, slightly stored fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, straw, and some honey, leading to a very dry finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottled. Brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of some roasted and caramel malt, some dried fruit, hint of raisin. Malty taste, hint of toffee, dried fruit again. Quite typical taste of a decent dutch bock if you leave it for a year.
