It is a typical Belgian ale, probably high fermentation, good touch of malt, bready, sweet, fruity, not so complex, but it makes the job, 18.05.2018, tasting it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Old rating from 29-10-15 - 330ml bottle titled 'L'Angelus au Froment', picked it up on a trip to Cassel. It pours a clear golden body with a big white head. Aromas of floral & grass. Tastes is grainy with tangy, zesty citrus and fruity grassy bitterness. Overall very decent

Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is malt, yeast, some floral notes and sugar, sugary fruits. Bit perfumy. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Drinkable, but too sweet.

On tap at Au Fil Rouge in Armentières. Classic Belgian/French blonde smell, lots of sweetness and with a hint of old cigarette. Plain gold and tasty enough to start an evening.

Adding on my 300 Beers To Try ticks because, hey, I drank 'em. From beers of Europe?

Really round smooth creamy body for the style. I’m getting some oxidation, but i think the underlying beer is unique and good. Very neutral and body forward and drinkable. Online saveur bier
