Bottle, 7.5%. Spicy aroma, seems to come mostly from hops. Cloudy amber colour. Good spicy flavour, slightly sweet. Cookie spices and some yeast.

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is very spicy combined with notes of caramel and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices - coriander, and yeast, leading to a bitter and spicy finish.

Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Murky nut brown color, quickly vanishing head, lots of bubbles. Caramelly nose with peanuts and dates. Medium to full bodied. Plum soap flavor, caramelly-kandy sugary, slightly woody. Finish is suprsingly dry with nutty flavor, hops and alcohol. In its sweetness this is quite typical strong Dutch ale. Not bad.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy dark amber with shortlived off-white head. While the caramel in the nose is vague it grows rapidly upon sipping, filling out my mouth completely and dominating the beer. It’s medium bodied with an orangey yeastiness and restrained sweetness. It lies soft and easy in the mouth and finishes with some sugar and Poperinge-style bitterness.

Bottled. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is mild woodenness and fruityness. Also some fruits, caramel malts and mild notes of cooked vegetables. Flavour s sweet malts, raisins, yeast and toffee. Quite rich flavour compared to the aroma. The finish is dominated by raisins, alcohol and a quite rich grassyness in the finish.
