Bottled. Very deep red colour, close to black, with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild toasted notes, some nutty notes as well as some fresh fruits, nectar, mild honey and some slight toffee. Flavour is toasted toffee, some tropical fruits, nectar, wood and mild bitterness to it. Very smooth, and pleasant to drink!

750ml Bottle - Very dark brown with a foamy head. Coffee, liquorice, pine and fudge in the aroma. Roasted and slightly soapy taste with pine, coffee, fudge and notes of citrus. Pretty tasty but a bit too roasty in terms of how I generally like this style to be.

Barva cerna. Pena nizka lec husta a trvanliva. Vune karamelova, ovocna. Chut karamelova, trocha kavy, trocha ovoce, trocha citrusu v dojezdu - suchem. Plnejsi telo, horkost v dojezdu nakonec stredni az vyssi. Zajimavy pocin, nejbliz to ma asi k nemeckemu cernemu pivu, hint nejakeho porteru ci alu.

Keg at Euston Tap. Very dark brown/black with a small beige head. Sharp aroma, hoppy with a touch of citrus. Slightly smoky/toasty malt smell. Very smooth in the mouth, with a slightly prickly aftertaste. Bit chocolatey, but with a touch of spice and a bitter finish

# 159, 12/2015. Vynikající BIPA. Velmi dobře vyvážená pražená sladová složka s výraznou chmelovou hořkostí. Příjemná, téměř terpentýnový dochuť.

Tap at Zubatý Pes. Black body, lasting off white head. Odd aroma... herbal hoppiness, banana?, maltines, some alcohol. Sweetish taste, chocolate, banana again, herbal hoppy touches, ending dry. Er... will try to rerate, this wasn't great.

Bottle. Malty and hoppy aroma, citrus fruit, roasted malts, light coffee. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter. Full body, malty and hoppy bitter. Well ballanced between hoppyness and maltyness. Very good.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Nice Black IPA offering you pretty much everything you want from the style. No surprises but well crafted and enjoyable through entire bottle.
