Typical English ale, characterised by the amber colour, delicate bitterness and the full malt body. Carefully selected hops lend the beer the aroma of resin, roses, grapefruit peel, and gooseberry traces. An intense, bitter opening gradually changes after sipping, and leaves behind a drier malt flavour with notes of caramel and dried fruit. The beer experience is completed by the dark amber to garnet colour and the fine silk foam.

0.5 l bottle shared with my father. Amber color, thin white head that disappears quickly. Hoppy bitter aroma with hints of fruits and resin. The taste is the same as the aroma. Not bad, I liked the hoppy scents but nothing outstanding.

Bottiglia. Il naso trova indizi di fruttato. La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare limpido. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato arrivano sentori di miele, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, agrumi, resina, pino e lampone.

0,5l bottle from Spilka beer & restaurant in Bratislava. Head is medium, egg-white, good retention. Colour is amber, clear. Aroma is citrus, biscuits, toast, bit caramel. Taste is medium malty base, toast, honey, dried fruits, light hoppy, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, ok for the style.

Deep caramel with a medium head. Aroma of biscuit malt. Flavour is dusty sweet caramel, malt and biscuit, sweet finish.

Bottle picked up from Kaufland, Prachatiche, Czechia and consumed at home Wednesday 20th March 2024 cooking Chilli con Carne and also a Spaghetti Bolognese for another night, listening to ByteFM now. Pours amber color, mostly clear as far as I can tell, mid sized white head. A little citrus on the nose along with a muted maltiness and some caramel. Taste is fine if unremarkable, a little fruity, mostly citrus, there is a light bitterness, light sweetness, fine.

Geht optisch eher in Richtung Red Ale. Riecht gut und schmeckt auch nicht schlecht. Milde Dunkelmalznoten, schön hopfig, mit Spuren von Harz und Holz. Recht süffig, hat aber durchaus eine gewisse Tiefe.
