(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy amber golden with a tiny off-white head. Lightly tart liqueur-like aroma. Solid body with hardly any carbonation, notes of overripe fruit, roasted malt and caramel. Has some lightly oxidized sherry notes and basically no bitterness. Mostly reminds me of a Barley Wine really. 290608

First rating(Bottle) Real dark reddish brown look, small tan head, looks like the co2 level is way too low. Alcohol, raissin, red plums, sweet, sugary blueberries, chocolate and roasted scent, very complex but a bit too apparant alcohol. Also some spices and sweet licorice. Taste is smoke, phenoles, medicine, tart red wine, alcohol, sirup, sugary, sweet, grapefruit. Smooth mouthfeel. Long bitter and alochol with raissins and figs aftertaste. Medium bitterness. Aftertaste also has some hazel nuts to it.8/2/6/4/13=3.3Rerate33 cl bottle at home on August 21, 2009BB Apr 2011, from Systembolaget in Västerås. Marked 8.5% ABVCloudy brown color, small off-white head. Alcohol, vinous, harsh scent. Alcohol, salty, milky, strawberry yoghurt, harsh bitter taste. Strange mouthfeel, apple aftertaste. Draught. Very muddy brown, no head. Grassy, hoppy, vegetables in the very dry nose. Full-bodied, woody, sugary-fruity flavor, quite yeasty. Dry aftertaste. Maybe need to rest a bit more (eg. in the bottle).

(Craught, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep) Dark brown colour, almost mahogany, small off-white head. Malty, sweet nose with dried fruit (raisins, prunes) and burnt sugar. Malty, sweet, taste with burnt caramel, syrup, dark fruit and spices. Full-bodied and full-flavoured, tasty but a bit too sweet.

[Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival] Muddy brown, no head. Aroma of almond and caramel. Sweet and full bodied. Very yeasty with cottony soft mouthfeel. Some citrus and spicy hops, but dominated by massive malt and very evident yeast character. Still young, but very good.
