Bottle at home from asda. Ruby red, mahogany brown coloured pour with a fluffy cream head. Aroma is soapy, dirty socks, faint coco powder. Flavour is composed of woody, harsh tannin, berry, hot alcohol, coco. Palate is moderate carbonation. Powdery on the tongue. Pretty shit.

500ml bottle from some supermarket - Rich mahogany body, thin creamy tan head. Nose is toast, chocolate, coffee, roasted nuts and smoke. Taste is a nice rich bitter and burnt. Bitter finish. A bit thin, but otherwise a great own-label supermarket beer.
