Peach Double IPA
Cream Puff War is brewed with honey malt and lactose, fermented with peach puree and double dry-hopped to create a deliciously unique, smooth and balanced ale. We set out to emulate the popular milkshake IPAs of our time and quickly veered off course to artfully merge sweet and hoppy.

From a pint can. Pours a cloudy orange gold with a modest off white head. Aromas of peach. Flavors are sweet peach with a nice mild citrus bitterness.

4 pack at home. Been avoiding from local market due to price but the new brewery brick finally got me. Dirty orange and puffy head. Nose is peach and orange. Tastes of thick orange, creamsicle, grapefruit, honey peaches. Sticky palate and chewy. Fruity finish.

Can. Craft Beer Cellar, Waterbury, VT. Fairly dark, slightly dirty gold. Fine white head is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has tinned peaches. Vanilla ice cream. Peaches and vanilla ice cream. That’s about the size of it. Taste is a little sweet, and peachy (naturally), with a decent hit of juicy hop bitterness. Medium body. Fine carbonation. A little drying, surprisingly. Moderate hop bitterness to finish. Delivers what it promises.

Draught at the brewery, 3/23/18.
Super cantaloupe-colored with a strong haziness and a medium-sized white head that fades quickly to a ring.
Melon, peach and leafy, green, citrusy hops are straightforward and suggest low resin/pine. Some soft yeast and malt notes are quickly displaced by stronger grain/husk. Peach begins fruity and almost juicy, but quickly gets a bit monotonous and lightly twangy.
Light peach juice character in the mouth with hints of sweet malt quickly succumbing to bitter, green hop and finally mango-lime and pine. Weird and a bit dry/scratchy, especially for its size, continuing the theme of undermalted, grainy/husky textures.

14 oz. draft at Ten Bends shared by ClarkVV. Aroma is mango, and sour Orange creamsicle. The flavor is sour orange creamsicle mixed with green onion. Mouthfeel is thin with a mineral hint. Really hard for me to drink this.
