Bottle thanks to Erzengel. Slightly hazy dark golden with lasting off white head. Light lime and herbs, nettles, green tea, fresh light toasted grain, cookie dough, syrup cookies. Light sweet with light to medium bitterness. Medium bodied, dry crisp feel and prickly carbonation. Good stuff, very drinkable.

0,33l-bottle. Bottled today and bought fresh directly from the brewery. The beer starts smooth, quite dry. Very nice and fresh. Pine, resin, nice moderate bitter. Nice floral with lots of dryness. Crisp with only hints of bitterness. The aftertaste is smooth, round, slightly grainy-malty, highly drinkable. Very nice, crisp and hop-aromatic. Great dry for a German IPA.

1000ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Rather cautious hoppy aroma delivers grassy notes, some hay, some straw, some lemon, a ’background-ish’ grainy touch. Taste is minimally bitter and grassy hoppy, hints of straw, hay, lemon, pea, slightly mineral and citrusy finish. Remains anaemic throughout. Appears to be an hotpot for the reutilisation of hop remnants rather than being a dedicative concern to compose an "irres Hopfenaroma". Vielleicht ’Neudeutsch’: "Irre’s Hopfenaroma". Doesn’t knock my socks off.

(swing top bottle, 100cl, 4.8% abv) Hazy, slightly greenish golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Yeasty, citrus-fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruits, pineapples and a delicately grassy touch, backed by slightly biscuity malt. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a slightly tame carbonation. Fruity and slightly resiny and grassy hops character with a mildly malty base; dry mouthfeel; bitter hoppy, fruity and slightly resiny finish with a delicately malty touch giving some balance. Well-crafted and moreish brew. 01.IV.14

Poured up on tap at Thombansen’s. This is the second batch of their new recipe, an IPA!! It pours with a pale yet deep gold body that supports a full near white head of foam that leaves behind sheet lacing. The modest aroma offers up smooth rounded malt sweetened hop notes such as a mix of malts, grainy malts, smooth citrus and some floral notes. The taste begins a bit grainy with smooth hop flavor notes like lime, grapefruit, floral and earthiness. To midway the hoppiness grows in bitterness but stays well in check with the sweet malt base and faint grainy maltiness. The bitterness takes on the form of citrusy lemon and grapefruit as the finish. Nice gently IPA.
