Trübes gelbes Zwickel mit geringem Schaum. Geruch hopfig grasig, Geschmack angenehm herb, minimal säuerlich, süffig.

Pours a hazy yellow/orange body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, florals, and sourdough bread. Flavor of grain, grass, and light florals.

Das Mohrenbräu Kellerbier habe ich seit einigen Jahren wieder mal getrunken, als ich es in einer Kellerbier-Bierbox gefunden hatte. Diesmal war ich nicht so begeistert. Es ist zwar recht süffig, aber die Malzsüße hat einen komischen Geschmack nach Karotte und Gurke...keine Ahnung warum. Man kann es trinken, aber es gibt besseres.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. MOderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. A little boring but OK keller.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. Nice oily palate.

Bottle. Sour milk, green hay, and barley malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with small head. Creamy malt and grass hops flavor. Very nice.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Servus, Stefan !): Hazy, golden to orangey coloured, mid-sized loose head with a little lace; sweet-grainy nose with a tinge of hops; light to medium sweet-bitter flavour, quite soft and light to medium bodied; some hops in the sweet-fruity-grainy finish. O.K., not bad.........

(33cl swing top bottle, 5.7% abv, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Cloudy, murky orange colour with a non-persistent, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly yeasty and milky malty nose with subtle and slightly sourish fruity notes. Light-sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Slightly yeasty, cara-malty taste, slightly nutty and bready; moderately dry, cara-malty finish with light herbal hoppy notes. Nice one (18.08.08).

bottle. Cloudy amber yellow colour, large head. Malty and slightly fruity with some hoppy hints. Yeasty character, hints of banana. This beer is brewed with wheat malt.
