On tap. Deep black. Bacon nose at first, but dissipates to maple by end. In contrast the maple is more up front taste with the smokiness more apparent as the beer warms. Bravo wee piggies.

Shared at KJUBZT March ‘19. Dark colour, but not entirely black. Light brown head. Aroma's of sweet dark malt, roasted, maple syrup. Retronasal it's sweet, maple syrup and blueberries. Flavour is moderate sweet, a bit ash, smoke. Medium bodied. Finishes ashy.

Can shared at KJUBZT March ‘19. Near black with a beige head. Aroma of cocoa powder, maple and pancakes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Can from Cork & Cask. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of maple syrup and vanilla. Flavour of smoke, burnt caramel and chocolate. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Very inventive.

Draft at BrewDog Leicester. Dark brown and opae with a ring of khaki head and creamy lacing. Maple syrup, light black coffee, a little dash of liqorice in the aroma. Sweet taste with a gentle suggestion of smoke. Short finish with more maple in the body. Body's suprisingly slight for the style and ABV, and the carbonation is a touch and a half too heavy. All in all a delicious and fun beer.

Tried at the fierce bar Aberdeen. Black colour with a dark tan head. Aroma has maple and smoked malt. Gives it a real taste of maple bacon pancakes. Taste not too sweet from the maple syrup. Nice full body.
