Double hopped with 100% USA sourced Citra hops. Green Devil is the big brother of our best selling Oakham Citra and very much the beer (a big, high ABV contemporary IPA) that our Brewing Director John Bryan envisaged brewing when he first discovered the Citra hop variety back in 2009.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Crystal clear, green tinged, dark straw colour. Thick, dense, lasting, just off white head. Beautiful looking beer. Cut grass. Green, fresh hop. Lemonade. Not as much bosh as I expected, actually, but that comes with the first sip. Lovely, sherbetty, grapefruit with sugar on top and a side order of soft toffee thing going on. Tons of fruit. Loads of bitterness. All well balanced. Daft easy to drink. A belter.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clean and clear mid-yellow coloured ale with a creamy head. Itโs extremely well hopped in both aroma and taste with a fine smooth texture. Itโs fairly sour in its taste with lemon and grapefruit really dominant.

Golden beer with a floral citrus aroma. Flavour is grapefruit but thereโs a sweeter citrus flavour in there too. Finish is dry and hoppy but if it was warmer would probably get a touch sickly. Very nice though.

Pours clear yellow with a bubbly head. Aroma of fruits, citrus, grapefruit and grassy hops. Taste is hoppy, fruity and lemony with notes of citrus and grass. Finish is malty, fruity and citrusy. Nice and refreshing.
