Draft at Paulaner Frankfurt. Pours crystal clear yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Crispy biscuits and cereal in the nose, some hay. Light sweet flavor with pleasant biscuity sugars, light metallic bite, hay, husk. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean and crisp to finish, simple dry cereal, bitter grains and dry hay. Solid pils.

Feinherber Geruch. Der Antrunk ist süßlich-flach. Im Hauptteil hopfig-süßlich. Zum Nachgeschmack hin süßlich mit leichter Herbe. Interessant süßliches und leicht herbes Pils. 8/12/7/8

Tasted from tap, a clean, crisp, malty Pilsener with a pure taste, malt sweetness evolving into a soft, floral hop bitterness, aromatic, as is typical for a Southern German Pilsener. Though one of the less interesting Paulaners, this is still a typical and very well-made example of its particular style.

01.08.2014, tap @ Leopold’s (Paulaner Keller), Hamburg:
Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head, light straw colored. Aroma is slightly dry and neutral, light malts, hay, paper, cereal, weeds. Taste is slightly harsh, light malts, paper, hay, weeds, grass, cereal. Medium bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. So boring.

Keg at Vila Vita Parc’s Biergarten. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Great lacing. Clean aroma of grass, orange and lemon. Beautiful flavour - fresh, clean and flavoursome. Notes of grain, lime, freshly cut grass. Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Delicious and incredibly clean.
