Like any good German pils, it is hard to really pin down anything that makes it as good as it is - simple - clean - crisp - just enough malt sturdiness through the middle to make the dry, lightly bitter finish welcome on the palate - the faintest bit of tanginess throughout - clean and enjoyable - standout? - no - but it will do over most american versions of the style.

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at Lukas in Overland Park, Kansas. Produced on 07/08 stamped on label. Pour is clear pale golden, with a one inch pure white head. Intermittent very fine carbonation streaks to the top. Nice lacing. Aroma of not much, some toasty malt and softly floral sweetness. Clean but faint. Taste is toasted biscuit malt, with a nice earthy straw floral mild sweetness behind that. Finish is more mineral, and lingers with the earthiness. Palate is medium, chewy in a waty with nice carbonation. Clean and easy drinking.

Pale yellow but does have some sediment on the bottom for a swirl in your glass.Taste is typical sharp bitter pils. Decent aroma laced with some of that cooked veggie olfactory. Continuos sharp bitter pils bite. Some tingly carbonation. Lingering, rubbery lasting finish.
