Old rating from Feb 2015 - French brewed, Belgium looking trappist 330ml bottle found in a restaurant in Reykjavik. Random & fairly expensive. Pours almost clear light amber with fast disappearing head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, banana, clove, yeast & sweet malt. Moderate body. Sweet finish. Disappointing, pretty poor all round

Clear golden with small white head. Sugary sweet malts, marzipan, peach, banana, vanilla. Medium to full bodied. Very sweet but with a light aromatic hoppy bitter finish. Actually way better than expected. Pretty decent strong beer.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Clear, golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with pale malts, fruits, yeasts and grains. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity. Rather boring.
