A classical and powerful ipa that I generally appreciate with Fred and this time, it was at Arbaz. This one is mineral and dry, side of tobacco, bitter and citrus, hoppy, dry malt, long bitterness staying at the mouth.

Old rating from 28-04-15 - 355ml bottle, pours amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, citrus, grapefruit, earth, grass, pine, resin, hints of spice & malt. Medium body. Dry Medium to strong bitter finish. Outstanding

Bottled. A pretty darned good IPA. Pours gold w/creamy head, bitter as hell, w/some citrus. A good IPA but not too extreme.

Bottle. After drinking this beer I came to the conclusion, I love hops. This is quite a statement for one who loves malty, dark beers. This has to be a favorite of anyone who loves hops. It has a floral aroma. Taste wonderful with a great flowery taste with a bitter "bite" of an after taste. Good stuff.

Can at home. Somehow it took me 7 years and close to 6 thousand beers to finally try this, crazy. Fine tuned bitterness, still quite ok hop character, great drinkability. If all macro beers were at least this level, then there’d probably be no need for 80% of craft breweries hehe

an exellent IPA, but i have to admit i was a bit dissapointed, yes it had all the atributes of a great IPA, but i found it a bit underwhelming for all the hype, and the style ratings. Not a hop forward as i would have expected, quite subdued i found.

Lattina.
