Hazy medium golden colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention and lacing. Rich aroma pale malt, grapefruit, peach, strawberry, pine resin, spicy notes. Round taste, medium bitter and light sweet, malty, grapefruit, peach, bisquit, pine resin. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation, long lasting dry bittersweet aftertaste, malty, citrus peel, piney notes, crisp, complex and well-made IPA, very good stuff.

9 months old, online from craftbeer-shop germany. And it’s great. Fresh, balanced above all, not too bitter, great cara malt backbone. Really quintessential classic ipa.

Puszka (z Berlina, chwilę po terminie). Jasnozłoty, klarowny, piana obfita, bardzo trwała. Aromat cytrusów i niestety lekko miodowo-landrynkowego utlenienia. W smaku wytrawne, niestety z okropną, łodygową, zalegającą goryczką. Lubię wysoką goryczkę, ale ta była paskudna. Ale ocena IPY po terminie jest niewiążąca...

Pours an almost perfectly transparent pale orange, with about one finger of a rather dense white head that shows good enough persistence. Potent but not very rich aroma has a piney/resinous base and strong citric notes of mainly grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet and high in bitterness, with a semi-dry, lingering bitter aftertaste. Light malty (crackery kind of) base, resinous bitterness, citric notes as per aroma. Bitter finish is resinous and slightly earthy. Medium bodied with average to high carbonation in an overall lively mouthfeel that felt perhaps a little too burpy to me. Overall, a straightforward west-coast ipa. Good at that, but not really interesting or especially enjoyable to me.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Una Mas, Nieuwegein. Berling brewed version. Clear dark yellow with a big white head. Citrus aroma with some light tropical fruit. Bitter taste with a crisp bitter finish. Nice old-fashoned proper bitter IPA.
