Bottled. (Only 4.5% ABV due to Norwegian alcohol-taxes.) Clear, pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is malty, but with some grainy notes. Quite sweet, malty and light flavor. Medium to light body and a finish with some bitterness. (060216)

(Bottle 33 cl) Pilsener golden with a small, creamy head. Lightly hoppy nose. Quite light-bodied with a weak, malty base. Faint hops in the finish. 290106

A light orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and rather hoppy, the flavor is also sweet and hoppy though not as much as the aroma - but still OK.

Big white fine-laced head, clear copper body. Soft, faintly spicy floral hop aroma. Taste is initially caramel malts, followed by floral hops and apples. Dry, papery, mealy aftertaste with a grassy bitterness is the lowest point of the beer. Not the most exciting Pilsner, but decent. (0.5l can.)

Pours a cloudy yellow. This brew looks more like a hefe than a pilsner. Aroma is hoppy and there is 0 head. Flavor is oily and thick. You get the flavor of hops but the skunkyness overwhelms. There are better out there.

Pale yellow colored and somewhat effervescent. Barely perceptible skunky aroma. Crisp flavor but not much character. Dry, slightly acrid finish. I am guessing the Bock is much better than this.

Soft maltiness, light bodied and reasonably well hopped. Crisp, like all Norwegian style pilsners appear to be.
