A style of beer curiously born on the foggy shores of Father Junipero Serra's first founding mission. Our own vigorous entry is one rebellious IPA, quick on the trigger, and brimming with a bounty of hop ingenuity. This is a big, bold, brazen beer, a restless vision of a new America.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: clear copper color with a finger and a half of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: big piney, big citrusy and big floral hops boldly blending with some caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a nice bittersweet sort of way, finishes piney & citrusy
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper, light smoothness but also good hop aggression
Overall: big bold West coast styled DIPA worthy of coming back to.

Bottle at home. Aroma of ripe tropical fruits, malt, biscuit, pine resin, orange, hops. Flavour is just over moderate sweet with a moderate to medium bittersweet finish. Body is medium to full. A rather malty IIPA, but well-rounded and smooth drink.

On tap at the source in May of '22. Short goblet. Clear, honey gold. Old ale-ish, wood, subtlety stale & sharply sweet. Toasty bread, varnish, resin. Sweet at first but it dries out with tea-like tannins. Hard for 9%. I think I just don't like this style.

Bottle. Amber color. Oily hops and ripe tropical fruit in the aroma. Malty sweetish but especially herbal oily hopbitter flavor. Some Malty sweetness and fruity notes pushed back by the alcohol and hops. Nice though Not perfect.

Canned 946ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Orange/golden coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, alcohol and weak hops in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, alcohol, notes of fruits and herbal hops with rather sweet almost sticky finish. Again not so fresh brew.
