Draft at Rocking Horse Pub. Hazy, dark blonde, thick head. Been sitting in the line too long, a bit of diacetyl happening, light esters, I can tell there’s a decent beer there.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy dull golden with a large white head. Aroma reveals a fragrant, spicy Belgian yeast character, bready malt, and light earthiness. Flavour is moderately sweet, with a nice spicy Belgian yeast expression, medium sweet candi sugar, and light champagne-like effervescence. I’d prefer less sweetness but the spicy yeast character is really satisfying. Very good.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dull amber with moderate head. Aromas of bready malts, floral soap and some Belgian yeast. Flavors follow same with additional citrus and honey. Quite malty, but nice enough.

Bottle from HoTM. It pours hazy orange - blonde with a decent fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet , doughy white bread, biscuit, orange marmalade sandwiches, fragrant, orange blossom, cracker and some grand marnier. The taste is crispy, dry, snappy, fragrant, floral, orange blossom, some bitterness, citrus peel, orange marmalade, herbal, peppery spice, slightly soapy vibes, kick of booze, cracker, biscuit, sponge and dull papery accents. Finish is dry and citrusy. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Has more depth of flavour than I expected. Interesting and quaffable.

Leicht eingetrübte goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, heftiger, leicht fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, heftiger, würzig, leicht fruchtig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

33 cl bottle at Le Ratin-Tot, Namur. An orangish pour with a bone-white head that leaves a disc on top of the beer. Aroma is porridge, orange, earth, white tea, sunflower seeds. Interesting nose. Bone-dry, full-bodied, supple and crisp. Very long-lasting finish with renewed tinges of tea. Very nice, I don't agree with the low score.
