bottle from saveur-biere. Hazy deep golden, mid-sized, creamy off-white head. Spicy aroma. Full-bodied, bitter-sweet with herbal accents and a nice hoppy bitter finish. Not just sweet, there are nice flavours there.

Bottle, 75 cl. It pours an unclear, golden body and a two-finger, off-write head. White sugar, tropical fruits, some herbal hints and orange the nose. Quite herbal flavour, some maltiness, white sugar and a touch of banana. Some bitterness. Full body, pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with some bitterness. Overall, nice, but not world class. 120922

Draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris
Hazy golden color. The aroma has a fruity and sweet take, and traces of bread. Good body strength, quite sweet, with a high level of bitterness, some alcohol perception, very light fruits; the final is long. It doesn’t have the expected spicy yeast.
Similar to some American attempts at the style, but better than the average.

333 swing-top from Cave à Bulles. Pours hazy/dirty gold with a transient white head. Aromas of malt, yeast/spice, banana ester, citrus. Med body. Sharp carbonation. Flavor is tripel. Yeast/spice/banana. Not quite that simple either. It is verging on earthy. Hint of pepper. Works pretty well.

On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris. Dark golden coloured, small white head, light acidic and mild alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, fruity hoppy and alcoholic with discreet spicy notes in the finish. Nothing more nothing less than average.

Flaske fra Polet: en behagelig balansert og lettdrikkelig trippel, ikke i den søte enden av reigsteret som ofte er tilfellet. Sødmen blir mer fremtredende ettersom temperaturen stiger. God munnfølelse men ikke den store kompleksiteten.
