On tap. Pours a mahogany color with full head. Aromas of dark berries, a bit of Belgian yeast, and bready malts. Flavors of metallic dark berries and doughy malts with some creamy Belgian yeast. Heavy.

Tap at Jeanette & les Cycleux. Clear amber with big pale pink head. Bubblegum, light red berries, raspberries, cherry soda, light caramel, light grassy. Under medium sweet with a tart touch and a soft chemical bitter finish. Under medium bodied with a bit of a dry feel. Watery and artificial and the finish is quite nasty, but at least it’s not cloyingly sweet I guess.

On tap @ Milano Beer Week.

Badged as Affligem Fruits Rouge. Pours orange red with a white lacing head. Aroma is very red berry. Seems mostly strawberry. Near med body. Flavor is red berry, again mostly strawberry, with some seed bitter. It’s not very sweet, but not quite dry either. Clean. Refreshing.

Draft. a pale red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of cherries and forest berries among them raspberries. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of raspberries combined with medium notes of bilberries, leading to a dry berry-like finish. A refreshing summer drink.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy brownish amber, small head. Artificial strawberry aroma. Very sweet. Feels empty despite it’s considerable size, and with it’s sticky mouthfeel and complete lack of depth it has little to offer.

Hazy red color, small pink head. It has a bad smell of red fruits (strawberries?) and dirty hair. Common beer with a medium sweet syrup to give some fake fruitness, a bit too bitter at the end, and still the same feeling of dirt. Very bad.
