clear chestnut colour, large, dense beige-ish ecru head; aroma of some dried sour cherry, burnt woody, some dark chocolate, roasted nutty and toasted rye bready notes; taste has similar notes to the aroma; correct one

500ml bottle from an Edeka in Berlin. Medium brown in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. This was a beer dominated by toffee sweetness, alongside some bread malts and a touch of roastiness. Too sweet for me.

Bottle. Brown color. Soft café au lait aroma with a hint of roast. Malty yet dry, roasty flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Bready, caramel. Surprisingly good.

Cloudy and tastes like it a bit. Has that earthy haze flavour. But the body is pretty good and the rest of the flavours are mellow, but not bad. Dresden supermaket

On tap @ some horrible systemgastronomie I refuse to mention. Dark brown with a nice big head. Aroma and taste are weak. Lack of almost everything I like in a Dunkel. Subpar and boring. It’s drinkable for sure but I really didn’t fancy a second one.

Flasche 0,33l: Dunkles Braun, glasklar, etwas grobporiger Schaum; in der Nase leichte Süße, Malzzucker, Röstaromen, dunkle Früchte, Holunderbeeren; im Körper deutliche Röstaromen, Röstmalz, eher trocken, spritzig-cremig, deutliche Kohlensäure, angenehme Hopfennoten, Haselnüsse, etwas Kaffee; angenehmer trocken-würziger Nachgang mit mehr Röstaromen

Pours brown with a small, somewhat fizzy head that quickly dissipates. The aroma, quite subdued, is of hops and roasted malts, with a cherry note. Body is relatively thin, with quite a bit of carbonation. The undertone is of roasted malts, but this does not subside into being a sweet, malty brew like a lot of darks; the hops balances it out. Still, the overall the overall taste is rather dull, with notes of paper. In general a dry, mild bitterness dominates from beginning to end. Decent.
