on tap at the brewpub. Big ripe fruit aroma, lots of raisins, and figs. Some bready malts, and more fruit in the flavor, a nice belgian.

Draught, 11.5% at the brewpub. OK roasted aroma. Seemingly clear dark brown colour. Very small head. The flavour starts off roasted and alcoholic. There is a good spicy note, then a vinous finish, also rather sweet. A flavourful beer, but quite rough around the edges.

A reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. A chalky caramel aroma with light licorice. Sweet candy sugar, curacao, Belgian in style, but rather watery. A lukewarm example of a beer. Tasted at St-Bock 31-10-08.
